At Week Parks, located in the heart of North Devon, your self-catering holiday accommodation is comprised of two peaceful, private, comfortable and cosy properties: Barn Cottage, which is dog friendly and can sleep up to six people; along with The Piggery, a studio that can sleep two.
Your self-catering accommodation is set in 9-acre grounds and combines traditional features along with modern comforts. Located near High Bickington, overlooking the Taw Valley in the heart of North Devon's unspoilt countryside, your stay at Week Parks gives you easy access to both Exmoor and Dartmoor and the many sandy beaches on the North Devon coast.
We can help you to arrange outdoor activities such as golf, fishing, shooting, riding and walking; all are on our doorstep.
Barn Cottage, smoke & vape free self-catering accommodation sleeping up to six plus a well behaved dog, offers a private enclosed garden, games room and ample parking.
The Piggery, set in its own secluded south-facing garden with lovely views across our fields and the Taw Valley, is an elegantly designed studio ideal for couples.
We are happy to welcome a well-behaved and friendly dog to Barn Cottage. Please be aware that our own dogs (Fred, Clarence and Hector) and cats (Ernie, Norman, Mavis & Rita) are in residence in the farmhouse. They are all friendly, although they prefer not to be pounced on by visiting dogs! See our terms and conditions for details. We regret that The Piggery is not dog friendly at this time.
In addition to the lovely views from Week Parks, we are blessed with an abundance of great days out and special places to explore - many of which, including most of the beaches, welcome dogs.
We are situated one mile south of High Bickington village just off the B3217 at Week Park Cross. Whichever way you travel to Week Parks, when you enter the drive, please continue past the house and turn left into the yard, where you'll see Barn Cottage.
We'll look forward to meeting you there!
Tracy Ford, the owner of Week Parks trained as a chef at Leiths School of Food & Wine. Since graduating, Tracy has run her own catering business and a cafe in Hampstead, was head chef for 18 months at one of London's most exclusive fine dining venues - The Cellars at Berry Bros & Rudd in St James's St - and taught at Leiths and Billingsgate Seafood School.
During your stay, we can offer a variety of meals. As you might expect, Tracy is passionate about food and always cooks with fresh ingredients. Why not order a meal for the day of your arrival, ready and waiting in the fridge? Please just give us a call and we can plan a special treat for you. In the cooler months, there will be a full basket of logs next to the woodburner in the lounge. Further logs can be purchased from us if required.
We love dogs and you're welcome to bring one of your own as long as you behave as well as your dog does! For their sake, however, we do prefer that dogs are not left on their own in the accommodation - White Bridge Kennels, only half a mile away, offers a day crèche.
