Adjoining the main farmhouse, converted from a 200-year-old barn and recently refurbished is Barn Cottage, your smoke & vape free self-catering accommodation, sleeps up to 6. The fully fitted kitchen is well-equipped and the cosy lounge warms up with a wood burner in the cooler months.
There are two shower rooms, one of which has a separate bath. Outside there is a small enclosed garden and ample parking.
The ample porch leads to the spacious and comfortable lounge with a wood burner, flat screen television, DVD player. A selection of books, DVDs and board games are provided.
You'll find everything you need in the kitchen, including an Aga, electric hot plate, table and chairs, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and a washing machine. The shower room has a shower, WC and washbasin and the rear hallway leads past the games room and into the private garden.
Although the sun shines most of the time in north Devon (well, that's what we like to believe!), sometimes you need a little indoor time, so all our guests are welcome to make use of our games room, where you can play table tennis, table football and darts.
All the bedrooms are nicely proportioned and spacious, one with a kingsize bed and washbasin, another with a double bed and, last but not least, bedroom 3 has twin beds. Your bathroom has a bath, separate shower, WC and washbasin. You'll enjoy pure cotton bed linen and fluffy white towels, along with non-allergenic pillows and duvets.
The private, enclosed cottage garden has lovely views of Exmoor and the Taw Valley, which you can enjoy over a glass of wine at the garden table or a meal cooked on the barbeque. The boring bits: there is a whirligig and ample parking for two cars!
